A new series of Pokémon animated shorts will be running on YouTube in 2020, as The Pokémon Company International has announced Pokémon: Twilight Wings, which is a series that will be set entirely in the Galar region. The popular Pokémon GO mobile game is today adding new Pokémon characters and an upcoming limited edition, holiday-themed Pikachu that players can find in the game. Among the new Pokémon available to discover starting today as of 10AM PST are Togepi, Pichu and select Pokémon originally discovered in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games. Niantic has chosen to disable the Pokémon Go Battle League due to a major exploit in the game. Participating in the Battle League allows players to increase their Pokémon Go Battle League Rank. Additionally, players also get the chance to win rewards as they rank up a level. Pokémon Go Battle League players can participate in a maximum of 5 ‘sets’ in which there are 5 matches each day.
