It’s always a big day in Bachelor Nation when the teaser is released for a new season of The Bachelor. Fans got a 30-second promotional video for season 24 starring Peter Weber, which premieres in January. The short video plays on both Weber’s career as a pilot and his reputation for a sexy night with Hannah Brown in a windmill in Greece.

There was a lot of debate over who should be the new Bachelor, as fans were torn between Peter Weber, second runner-up on The Bachelorette season 15, Mike Johnson, another contestant, and Tyler Cameron, Brown’s first runner-up. Weber made a name for himself with his sweet demeanor and incredibly cute family, and of course, for having sex with Hannah Brown in a windmill on their overnight date… four times. Brown famously yelled that she had had sex in a windmill while defending herself against religious contestant Luke Parker. On the “Men Tell All” episode when Brown and Weber saw each other for the first time since Greece, Brown clarified that they had actually done it four times.

The video itself, posted on Bachelor Nation on ABC’s YouTube channel and social media pages, is a 30-second artistic masterpiece. The teaser begins with a plane in the sky as the opening chords to Michael Bublé’s “Feeling Good” chime in. A single rose petal begins floating down from the sky and over towards a - you guessed it - windmill, from which Peter Weber emerges in a tailored suit holding a long stemmed rose. The video, seen below, perfectly combines Weber’s traditional family-man style career with his newfound sex appeal.

Many fans criticized Weber as ABC’s choice for The Bachelor, believing he would be a boring lead and claiming this was a missed opportunity by the network to have their first black male lead. However, new reports from filming guarantee this is already going to be an exciting season. The 28 year old commercial pilot split his face open falling on some cocktail glasses while filming in Costa Rica. Weber reportedly needed 22 stitches on his face, as well as a brief surgery, but the show will go on.

The network may have missed their opportunity to have a great first black male lead in Mike Johnson, but Weber is far from boring. As one of the only leads in recent times with an actual career, it will be interesting to see if he clings to his traditional lifestyle or abandons it for the world of fame and Instagram ads like so many before him. The California boy also checks a diversity box for the network as the franchise’s second hispanic lead.
