It’s no secret that The Bachelor Peter Weber is fond of former bachelorette Hannah Brown and her reality TV style. The two have a history, but Brown is still inspiring Weber to this day - so much so that Weber’s theme of vulnerability and openness mimics what Brown demonstrated during her first speech on season 15 of The Bachelorette.

Fans watched as Hannah Brown looked for love on The Bachelorette, she struggled to pick between the final three contestants: Jed Wyatt, Tyler Cameron, and Peter Weber. She ended up leaving Peter behind in Greece as she decided between the other two love interests. Now, after choosing Jed and calling off her engagement, she tried again with Tyler by asking him out at the finale, but it seemed she and Peter were moving on just fine - until The Bachelor premiere. Hannah showed up to pay a surprise visit to Peter with the purpose of returning Peter’s co-pilot wings that he had gifted her upon his arrival on her season. The tables turned on the premiere episode as Hannah walked up to him. However, after a heart to heart, hopefully Brown and Weber (and fans) got the closure they needed.

Now that the sting of lost love is gone, Weber only has good memories from Brown. Weber explained at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena (via Fox News), “I remember…that first night, her first speech was all about being vulnerable and open and raw with the guys. And I made that a big theme of mine and I wanted to set that theme early on,” He also opened up about his experiences thus far on season 24 of the show as well as how much he’s grown since being with Brown. Weber says that he has matured and that he’s ready to communicate better with new prospective wives. When asked about his experience participating as The Bachelor, Weber stated: “It was really cool for me to have so many different women with different personalities, and I had to really adjust on the fly and learn how to have them receive what I really intended for them to receive.”

Weber also admitted that dating that many women in a short amount of time call for long nights and not many opportunities for sleep. It looks like Weber’s not just turning to Brown for theme advice, as he clearly has strong feelings for Hannah Ann Sluss amongst others in the mansion. With that said, it’s still very early on and technically anyone’s game. Weber is excited for Bachelor Nation to see the finale, though, as he doesn’t want to have this secret he’s been keeping any longer. In regards to the finale, he commented on how secretive is difficult for him, saying, “I wish everyone could know about it.” Weber feels his final week on the show will be one that stands out to him forever, and fans can’t wait to see it.

With twists and turns and unexpected moments even for the bachelor himself, season 24 of The Bachelor is sure to be a wild ride until the end. After a tumultuous start to the season, with Brown being present and the women of the mansion flustered by her inexplicable hold on Weber, but Bachelor Nation is hoping to see a shift as the season continues - one where Weber will ultimately give his battered but healing heart to another woman who will ultimately become his wife.
