Adobe has updated its Photoshop Express app for iPhone and iPad to allow automatic creation of photo collages, and to add support for Google Photos.

Support for Google Photos means that photos stored in Google’s free cloud service can be downloaded directly into the app, edits made and then the finished creation uploaded back to Google.

While many iOS users choose to remain entirely within Apple’s ecosystem, a significant proportion of us use Google Photos instead of iCloud for its free, unlimited storage of high-resolution photos and 1080p video. The ability to directly import and export photos in and out of Photoshop Express is a welcome upgrade.
Photoshop Express is a free download from iTunes, though it does offer in-app purchases for optional effects. The Google Photos apps can automatically upload photos from both iOS devices and Macs. The iOS app is a free download from iTunes while the Mac app is a free download from Google.
