Pocket Read It Later App Updated With One Tap Listening Fresh Design

Pocket has been a long-time favorite app to save articles, websites, videos, and more to check out later. The service now competes with built-in features like Apple’s Reading List, and today Pocket is getting a major update with a focus on one-tap listening and a fresh coat of paint.

Pocket rolled out a text-to-speech listening feature for its iOS app back in 2015, but today’s update brings a more refined experience and strong focus on listening. Today’s update moves the app to version 7.0, a major revision since Mozilla acquired Pocket last year.

VentureBeat notes how Pocket has put the Listen Button front and center in the app.

The update also brings a refreshed user interface with a simpler article view, a dark and sepia theme, and new fonts.
